  • Download the SumUp App in the App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Open the app on your phone and log in with your SumUp account.

  • When asked to buy a reader, click “I already have a reader” on the top right and “Continue to Dashboard”.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account set up.

Accepting Mobile Payments

When a customer wants to make a cashless payment, open your SumUp App and:

  • Enter the amount of the payment and tap “Charge”. 

  • Select “Mobile Payments” and choose one of the 3 options: “Show QR code”, “Share payment link” or “Send via SMS”.

  • Now have the customer scan the QR-Code with his/her smartphone camera or pay through the shared link by entering their card details.

  • After the “Transaction approved” message has appeared, you can email or text the receipt to your customer.
